suspects were described as follows: the first was a male, approximately 6 feet tall, with a medium build, dressed in a black hoodie, dark jeans, and black gloves. He wore a black ski mask and carried a black handgun. The second suspect was also male, about 5 feet 8 inches tall with a slender build, wearing a dark green jacket, black pants, and black gloves. He had a black balaclava over his face and carried a silver handgun. There were a few customers inside the mall during the robbery, but they remained still and did not interfere with the suspects. The cashier complied with the suspects' demands, which likely prevented any escalation of violence. It is important to note that there appeared to be no visible security personnel on site at the time, and the suspects encountered no barriers or alarms that might have slowed them down. Immediately after the suspects fled, I called the local police and reported the incident, providing them with the details of the robbery, including descriptions of the suspects and the direction in which they fled. I remained at the scene until the police arrived, approximately 10 minutes later, to provide them with a full account of what I had witnessed. In conclusion, the armed robbery at Das Mall on August 12, 2024, was a swift and coordinated act by two masked individuals. Fortunately, no one was physically harmed during the incident, but the lack of security measures at the mall allowed the suspects to carry out their crime without resistance. It is recommended that the mall increase its security presence, install surveillance cameras, and provide additional training for staff on handling such situations to prevent future incidents.
