10. Consistency and completeness

Be consistent in terminology: Use consistent terminology throughout the report, especially

when referring to people, places, and objects.

Ensure completeness: Review the report to ensure that all relevant details have been

included and that there are no gaps in the narrative.

   11. Review and edit

Proofread for errors: After completing the report, review it for spelling, grammar, and

punctuation errors. Ensure that the report is polished and professional.

Seek feedback if necessary. If possible, have a colleague or supervisor review the report to

ensure it meets organisational standards and is complete.

Main Body of the Sports Competition Report

The annual sports competition at Das Standard School, held on August 10, 2024, was a lively

and engaging event, bringing together students from all grades to compete in a variety of

athletic activities. The day began with an opening ceremony at 8:00 AM, where the

headmaster, Mr. Kwame Adjei, delivered a motivational speech, emphasising the

importance of sportsmanship, teamwork, and determination. Following the ceremony,

students from each grade, categorised by age groups, eagerly took to the field to showcase

their athletic skills.

The event featured a diverse range of activities, including track and field races, soccer

matches, and relay races. The track and field events, which included 100m, 200m, and 400m

sprints, long jumps, and shot put, saw intense competition. The 100-meter sprint was

particularly exciting, with Sarah Mensah of Grade 6 emerging as the fastest runner, clocking

in at 13.5 seconds. In the long jump, Kwame Asante from Grade 8 set a new school record

with a leap of 5.2 meters.
