So you see, Uncle Ato never helped me. Now you are all my hope. The reason is that you are

in the city, and maybe you can get me some money since cities are believed to be richer than

the villages. Please, uncle, my schooling depends on you now by paying my fees.

Again, uncle, your support will help me complete the school. Failing to pay my fees means I

will be a dropout. I hope you know the consequences of being a dropout. It means I will not

be able to get a good job that will earn me decent money. This will eventually lead to my

inability to care for my parents and myself. The end result is poverty that will circulate in my

family. Oh, uncle, do your best to remedy me from this situation.

Finally, uncle, helping me will save me from joining bad associations. For the past five

months, I haven’t stayed in the house, but friends have influenced me a lot. Now, I follow

them to smoke, drink, and many more. I know you don’t want me to remain a smoker and

the rest of the indecent acts, so help me. I have come to my senses and realise that the only

solution to my current problem is going back to school.

I end here with many greetings, especially to your wife. Uncle, it slips my mind that the police

have rounded up Kofi Ankan for stealing Auntie Attala's goat. What a shame to the family!.
