A model informal letter with dialogue

Question: Write a letter to your uncle who stays in the city informing him of at least three

reasons why you need his support in your schooling.

Hello Uncle Bob,

I couldn’t believe my eyes when it turned out that my parents were not capable of paying my

fees. What a shock! Hmm, uncle, I hope you are fine. The reason for writing you this letter is

to inform you why I need support from you for my schooling.

Uncle, I need you to pay my fees since I cannot pay. For the past three terms, I haven’t been

to school due to non-payment of fees. I have been sacked, and I tried all the possible means

for the fees; however, all efforts have proved a failure. I’ve been weeding people’s farms for

the past three months, but they haven’t paid me to enable me to pay my fees. Last week, I

went to Uncle Ato for my fees, and to my total surprise, he sacked me. This was what went

on in his house.

Me: (knocking door) Uncle, good morning?

Uncle Ato: What do you want in my house?

Me: uncle I wanted to know if you can help pay my fees.

Uncle Ato: Help who to pay what?

Me: Pay my fees, please.
