CHAPTER - FIFTEEN
AN ADVERTISEMENT CREATION
Persuasive advertisement writing involves crafting messages that aim to convince an
audience to take a specific action, such as purchasing a product, using a service, or adopting
a particular viewpoint. This type of writing combines creative and persuasive techniques to
engage and influence potential customers.
Key Elements of Persuasive Advertisement Writing
1. Clear Objective
Define the purpose of the advertisement. What action do you want the audience to take? This
could be making a purchase, subscribing to a service, or supporting a cause.
Example: The purpose of this advertisement is to encourage readers to subscribe to our
premium fitness app. We want the audience to take advantage of our 7-day free trial and sign
up for a monthly subscription to achieve their fitness goals.
2. Target Audience
Understand who the advertisement is aimed at. Consider factors such as age, gender,
interests, and needs. Tailor the message to resonate with this specific group.
Example: Our advertisement is aimed at young adults aged 18-35 who are interested in
fitness and health. They are tech-savvy, enjoy trying new fitness trends, and are looking for
convenient ways to stay in shape. The message will highlight the app's innovative features
and the convenience of working out at home.
