can soothe students and lead to moral degeneration. Moreover, the secrecy of social media

platforms can encourage unethical behaviour, such as lying, cheating, and spreading false

information. This erosion of moral values can have long-term detrimental effects on

students' character and societal norms. To remedy this, schools must teach culture and

moral studies to help students stick to their positive values in the country.

In conclusion, while social media has its advantages, it is crucial to recognise and address

the negative effects it can have on students. Parents, educators, and policymakers must work

together to create awareness and implement strategies to mitigate these adverse impacts,

ensuring that our students can thrive academically, mentally, and morally in this digital age.
