consequences are that the school’s performance, if not checked, would lead to shutting the

school as the students are leaving. Please, sir, I would appeal to the authorities to provide

the school with adequate teaching staff.

In addition, there are inadequate classrooms in my school. The classrooms in the school are

few to accommodate the students. There are only four classrooms in the school to

accommodate 500 students who need nine classrooms. For instance, students attend classes

now under trees. As a result, classes are halted during the rainy season; lessons are not

delivered. The syllabuses are not completed in the school. In effect, there are always poor

performances of the school during the BECE, leading to parents withdrawing their wards

from the school. The BECE performance report of the school, according to the headmaster,

shows that last year the school presented 120 students for the BECE and only 2 got aggregate

30, the rest failed.

From the table above, the school performances are very poor, as the average passed for the

periods is less than 10%. This, I am afraid, if not checked, can lead to worse grades next

batch. This can be remedied by building more classrooms for the school. Please, sir, I would

be happy if you helped prompt the right authorities to build more classrooms for the school.
