                            THE PROBLEMS FACING MY SCHOOL

I wish to draw your attention to the problems facing my school. There are several problems

facing my school. These problems facing my school are inadequate teaching staff, inadequate

classrooms, and a lack of toilets. Below are the details of the problems facing my school.

The first problem facing my school is inadequate teaching staff. These teachers in the school

are not enough to teach the subjects. My school has only three teachers teaching the subjects.

They are the mathematics teacher who teaches BDT and Twi too, the English language

teacher who teaches Social Studies and Religious and Moral Education also, and finally the

science teacher who teaches French and ICT. As a result, the teachers cannot complete the

entire syllabus before the BECE. The effect is that the majority of the BECE candidates the

school presented failed each year. Headmaster’s BECE performance record shows that the

past three years the school had not gotten 10% passed. The evidence was clear, as last year
