Read the following persuasive paragraphs and identify the following elements:

   1. Topic Sentence (which presents the argument or stance)

   2. Logical Reasoning and Evidence

   3. Emotional Appeals

Paragraph 1:

"Adopting a plant-based diet can significantly improve your health. Numerous studies have

shown that reducing meat consumption lowers the risk of heart disease, diabetes, and certain

cancers. Additionally, plant-based diets are rich in essential nutrients like fibre, vitamins,

and antioxidants. Imagine the energy you'll have by eating clean, wholesome foods and

knowing you're contributing to a more sustainable planet."

Paragraph 2:

"Social media platforms should implement stricter regulations to protect users' privacy. Data

breaches and misuse of personal information have become alarmingly common. Research

from cybersecurity experts reveals that many companies fail to adequately safeguard their

users' data. Think about how much of your life is shared online—shouldn't you have the right

to control who sees it?"

Write a persuasive paragraph on one of the following topics. Make sure to include a clear

topic sentence, logical reasoning with evidence, and at least one emotional appeal.
