world are worth the extra effort.

4. A rainbow happens when sunlight passes through rain droplets in the sky. The light bends,

then splits into different colors, creating a beautiful arc across the sky. The colors of a

rainbow are red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet. You usually see rainbows

after it rains when the sun starts shining again. Learning about rainbows helps us

understand more about how light works.
