of people suffering from stomachaches and infections due to drinking water from the river.

To address the issue of river pollution, several measures can be taken. First, stricter

regulations should be enforced on industrial waste disposal to ensure factories do not dump

harmful substances into the river. For example, the government could implement regular

inspections and impose fines for violations. Second, increasing the availability of recycling

bins and promoting proper waste disposal can help reduce littering. Campaigns to educate

the public about the importance of keeping the river clean would be beneficial. Finally, better

management of agricultural runoff through the use of eco-friendly practices, such as planting

buffer zones and using less harmful pesticides, can prevent further contamination. By taking

these actions, we can improve the quality of the river and safeguard both the environment

and our community’s health.
