Had I known is always at last

In a small village nestled between rolling hills, there was a young man named Liam who

dreamed of adventure and wealth. Though he had a modest job as a blacksmith, he spent

much of his time daydreaming about striking it rich and living a life of luxury.

One day, while working in his forge, Liam overheard a traveler speaking about a hidden

treasure buried deep within the forest on the edge of the village. The traveler described it as

a vast fortune, and Liam's heart raced with excitement. Driven by the promise of riches, Liam

decided to embark on a quest to find this treasure, hoping it would transform his life.

Ignoring the advice of his friends and family, who urged him to be cautious and to think

through his plans, Liam set off into the forest with nothing more than a map and a few

supplies. The map was old and faded, but Liam was determined. He spent days navigating

through dense foliage, crossing treacherous streams, and braving wild animals, all the while

focussing on the glimmer of the treasure he hoped to find.

As the days turned into weeks, Liam's journey became increasingly arduous. He faced many

challenges and obstacles, including harsh weather conditions and scarcity of food. Despite

these difficulties, his resolve remained unshaken. He pressed on, driven by the thought of

the treasure that lay ahead.

Eventually, Liam arrived at the spot marked on the map. Exhausted and weary, he began to

dig fervently, only to find an old chest buried beneath the ground. With great anticipation,

he opened the chest, only to discover that it was filled with old, rusted tools and broken

trinkets—worthless relics of a bygone era.

Disheartened and physically drained, Liam realised that he had wasted precious time and

energy in search of something that was not what he had hoped for. He trudged back to the

village, feeling defeated and reflecting on the journey. It was then that he understood the
