Activity 1: Sound Identification

Students will identify whether they hear the /r/ or /l/ sound and its position in the word

(beginning, middle, or end).

1. Instructions:

 - The teacher says a series of words aloud.

 - Students listen carefully and identify if the word contains the /r/ or /l/ sound.

 - Students also determine if the sound occurs at the beginning, middle, or end of the word.

3. - Listen to the following words: rabbit, hill, pillow, red, leaf, mirror.

 - Write down if the word has an /r/ or /l/ sound and whether it appears at the beginning,

middle, or end.

Activity 2: Sound Reproduction

Students will practice pronouncing words with /r/ and /l/ sounds in all positions, focusing

on clear articulation.

1. Instructions:

 - The teacher provides words with /r/ and /l/ sounds in different positions.

 - Students take turns repeating each word, paying special attention to the clarity of the

sound
