CHAPTER – TWENTY TWO

                DESCRIPTIVE, NARRATIVE AND STORY WRITING

Narration is the attempt to give a description of a past event. Therefore, the tone of the

narration must be in the past tense. It can be a process, event, or incident. Descriptive essays

deal with the description of an event in the present and present continuous tense. It can also

be in the in the simple future tense. It involves giving a vivid account of people, places,

events, etc. in such a way that the reader will understand it with the five senses—touch, hear,

sight, and taste.
