3.4. Fundraising for School Improvements

Discussion: Mr. Mark Wilson proposed a fundraising event to support school improvement

projects, including the playground upgrade and technology resources.

Decision: A fundraising committee will be established to plan and organise the event. The

committee will consist of Mr. Mark Wilson, Ms. Sarah Johnson, and interested parents.

   4. Other Matters

Discussion: Mrs. Laura Brown suggested a community forum to gather additional input from

parents and students about potential school improvements.

Decision: The PTA will host a community forum on September 15, 2024, to solicit feedback

and ideas.

   5. Next Meeting

The next PTA meeting will be held on November 7, 2024, at 6:00 PM in the school

auditorium. The focus will be on reviewing progress on the playground project and

discussing the upcoming fundraising event.

   6. Adjournment

The meeting was adjourned at 8:00 PM. A motion to adjourn was made by Ms. Sarah

Johnson and seconded by Mr. Tom Harris. The motion was passed unanimously.
