Hey everyone,

First off, I want to say how awesome it is to see all of us here together as school prefects.

We’re a team, and it’s pretty cool that we have the chance to make a real difference in our

school. Today, I want to talk about something that’s on all our minds—how we can make our

school a better place for everyone.

Let’s start with the basics—respect. I think we all know that creating a positive environment

starts with how we treat each other. It’s easy to get caught up in our own groups or focus only

on our responsibilities, but let’s remember that we’re all in this together. Whether it’s a

simple ‘good morning’ in the hallways or lending a hand to someone who needs it, small acts

of kindness can have a huge impact. When we show respect, others will follow, and soon

enough, we’ll have a school where everyone feels valued and included.

Next up, let’s talk about communication. As prefects, we’re the bridge between the students

and the teachers. If we want to make things better, we need to keep those lines of

communication open. Let’s encourage our classmates to speak up if they have ideas or

concerns. And on our end, let’s make sure we’re approachable. Sometimes, it’s just about

being a good listener. When students know they can come to us, we’re already halfway to

solving any problem.

Now, I know we all have different strengths and ideas, and that’s a good thing! But to really

make a difference, we need to work together. Let’s collaborate on projects that can improve
