law enforcement agencies can help reduce the cases of road accidents in the country.

In conclusion, the effects of road accidents in Ghana are far-reaching and devastating. The

loss of lives, severe injuries, economic implications, and erosion of public confidence

underscore the urgent need for action. The government must enforce stricter traffic

regulations, improve road infrastructure, and conduct comprehensive road safety education

campaigns. Public awareness initiatives emphasising safe driving practices are also crucial.

By addressing these issues, Ghana can reduce the incidence of road accidents and their

devastating effects, ensuring a safer and more prosperous future for all citizens.
