Recipient address
The recipient address is the address of the person you are writing the letter to. You have to
create a recipient address. Do not write the name of the person, but the title and institution.
It should be on the left-hand side of the letter.
Example
The Assemblyman,
P O Box 5,
Dome-Accra.
It should be on the next line after the sender's address with date.
Salutation
The salutation always takes Dear Sir for a man and Dear Madam for a woman. If you don’t
know the gender, just write Dear Sir/Madam. It can be just Sir, Madam, as the salutation.
The heading or topic
The heading is from the question. What you are asked to write. It should be only capitals or
capitalized and underlined.
