Descriptive Paragraphs

Descriptive paragraphs provide detailed information about a person, place, thing, or event.

They use sensory details—sight, sound, smell, taste, and touch—to create a vivid picture in

the reader’s mind. Descriptive writing paints a picture in the reader's mind using vivid details

and sensory information. It is essential for creating compelling narratives, informative

reports, and engaging essays. Descriptive writing helps readers visualize the scenes,

characters, and experiences the writer describes.
