Do not begin sentences with words; like, since, because, when, etc.

The next part of a paragraph body is the minor supporting sentences.

Minor supporting sentences

They are sentences after the major supporting sentence. They are the supporting details to

buttress the content or the claim of the topic sentence and the major supporting sentence.

So, they explain the major supporting sentence directly, and indirectly the topic sentence.

The meaning is that, they should add more meaning to the major supporting sentence, but

should not shift from explaining the topic sentence and the topic of the essay.

What we should remember is that, each sentence must explain the one that comes after it.

Second sentence must explain the first; the third must explain the second and so on.

The Illustrative example Minor supporting sentences

We are still using the teenage pregnancy example.

The first cause of teenage pregnancy is inadequate parental care. Some parents do not take

good care of their children. The parents do not offer their children with food, accommodation

and cloth. Not only that, but also, the parents do not offer moral training to their children.

These can be explained by the fact that the parents are too busy with their work due economic

hardships in the country.
