DAS HYBRID AND FORWARD-LOOKING SCHEME OF WORK
Das Examination has introduced a bold and forward-looking scheme of work to aid schools in achieving the needed results in Ghana.
Background
Carefully checking the timing for the BECE time suggests a different approach to teaching and learning. The BECE will be normally be written around June/July every year. As such, the scheme of learning must be forwarded to create room for the remaining six months.
THE WAY FORWARD
We have forwarded the scheme of work. The first and second terms will be devoted to a particular class. The third term shall be the next class first term topics

The above system runs faster and will make schools complete the curriculum in the months of March/April. They will get a full term for revision to improve performance.
The system starts from Basic 1 where facilitators teach all the topics in two terms. Then, they start term 1 Basic two in third term basic 1. This will set the ball rolling for the rest for the system to work.

The exams shall be normal scheme. The fact is that schools must try and finish their curriculum faster
INTRODUCING END OF STRAND AND SUB-STRAND TEST NEXT ACADEMIC YEAR.
We are pleased to inform you that, beginning next academic year, we shall run end of strand/month standardized exams for schools.
The exams will be for BASIC 1 to Basic 9.
